Acupay’s SWIFT Architecture Update
Acupay’s company vision is to remove friction in the world of global investing. The use of SWIFT messaging is a major component of delivering on that vision. SWIFT is the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services. Global financial institutions use SWIFT to communicate with counterparties, including Acupay and its partners.
As Acupay extends its product portfolio and builds for growth, it is also investing in its SWIFT architecture to support that growth. Acupay’s strategic goals are to ensure reliability, performance, scalability, and to expand the scope of the message processing.
In late 2021, Acupay deployed a new dedicated SWIFT communications environment. The new environment significantly increased the redundancy and resilience of the platform. Simultaneously, new security safeguards were implemented to ensure the confidentiality of both the communications and the network.
In addition, new monitoring, alerting, and metrics collection were also implemented, providing improvements in management and security visibility within the infrastructure.
In 2022, Acupay will upgrade its SWIFT message processing software, which is already in testing. There will be a broader range of supported SWIFT messages, as well as the support of the new 20022 message standard. Improvements in processing speed and scalability are also on the roadmap for the year, allowing for a greater overall volume, expected with growth.
As Acupay grows and moves into the future, it strives to optimize all elements of its services to maintain and improve its high level of customer support.
